Tell that to my friend whose daughter was on her death bed with a rare disease before cbd oil.

Georgia is the same way. It's legal to have, but illegal to sell. Tell me how that's supposed to work.

This stops people from going to jail for simple possession, but you can’t have a large amount with intent to distribute.

I think weed should be fully legal, but I agree with this possession law for harder things.

Except that’s it’s not snake oil . The real snake oil is all the shite the pharmaceutical companies try to push. This is a threat to their profits.

I don’t use CBD oil either.

Tell that to my mom, who couldn't walk without severe pain in her knees until she started using CBD oil cream.

While the rest of the western world is trending towards full legalization, it’s almost required that Louisiana should make a push in the other direction.

I’ve never thought it would be possible, but after Biloxi excelling in Louisiana’s gambling market almost brilliantly, I’m sure they’re taking pointers on what not to do there.

As a lifetime resident of states that boarder Louisiana, I’m beyond disappointed in how badly they have fricked up this whole pot legalization. They should have been one of the first 5 states to go recreational. It would be like a state government winning the Lotto in Tax dollars. Can a state in the south please figure this shite out. Come on Louisiana we are counting on y’all to get one damn thing right.

Don't forget who controls things in the South when it comes to issues like this - the sheriff's. They'll do anything to protect their slave labor force, state stipends for keeping prisons full, and legal theft via CAF.

In this case I think it's actually more about the state getting their profits taken away. They've rolled out the restricted medical program here at a snail's pace, and in the meantime, the 2018 farm bill essentially neutered their restrictive mmj program. Now anyone can get oil and flower without limited qualifying conditions or having to visit a far off pharmacy.

Medical marijuana is legal in Louisiana yet the state is so fricked up they can't get out of their own way to even get a program started, much less ready to help patients

Not a coincidence.
