They have cool shite no one else does. It’s not alien tech. It’s advanced drones or lasers. All the sightings they have leaked or released have been near military activity.
For 70 years FedGov said aliens weren’t real and people were crazy. Now all of a sudden they act like they have no idea what this is.
It’s a massive disinformation campaign designed to rile up the public and send a message to our adversaries that we are still daddy.

I think they are working on instant travel tech/teleportation and have already successfully sent something small from one point to another instantaneously.
