absolutely agree that in terms of protesting injustice, people tend to go the violent/disruptive route. It is very unfortunate and usually results in a counter effect.

She might be disciplined in some manner, but no way will she be fired.
I seem to remember a teacher in Texas getting fired for less than that and another in Maryland for correction a students spelling

I laughed a little too loud at this statement

It's one thing to post images on reddit/TD/ect. under an assumed alias. It's completely different to post openly on other forms of social media where you can be easily identified and leave yourself open for the consequences.
Why are we OK with this being the way things have to be? Why can't we simply support people expressing their beliefs freely and openly?

Why would she be fired? Agree with her or not, that's her right.. Unless its a school policy.

You absolutely did.

I just said that both sides protest.
You did more than that. It's ok to say it.

Hahaha DUDE. Did she send that to the Single Black Men FB Group?
This bitch is crazy and begging for a reason to user arsenal.
I think so.
Has to be a fake or troll account. No way that's really her. Right?

C'mon man let's keep perspective on things. Not everything is violently protested.
Uh, the left has a pretty bad track record when it comes to violence and looting while supposedly "peacefully" protesting.
quote:
Look at the Gay rights movement as an example of liberals protesting without much in terms of violence.
Have we seen many trannies flipping cars over and burning limos?
Then it's pretty much the first time in recent memory. The left has been violent with their protests for the most part. Is that not a fair assessment?

I'm not sure that is technically a "political activity".
Yeah, maybe she just had a bad stay at the hotel: room service food was bland, splooge on the comforter, hair in the sink. Frick you Trump Hotel, 1 star, but I wish I could give it zero stars.

She signed her employment contract, she needs to live up to it or suffer the consequences. Why are you against accountability?

She is not a state employee. She works for the Ascension Parish School Board. She is probably a civil service employee. I doubt Louisiana being an at will state will matter in this case. Therefore, any laws concerning the political conduct of state employees or the ability to fire her at will do not apply in this case.
Well this is just comically wrong.

Okay, I have a question.. There are always news stories of people getting fired for stupid shite because people are too sensitive. Like the school employee that responded to a kid on twitter, who tweeted "I hope school is closed tamarraw" and under the school twitter account a school employee responded "if you don't come to school how will you learn how to spell tomorrow?" I am paraphrasing.
Anyway, everyone goes on about how sensitive the country has become, etc, etc... But then if they see someone doing something they don't support, they are "oh she should be fired". So the country is only becoming too sensitive when it's something you don't agree with?

If your profession is wholly dependent on taxpayers, then you should act in a way that is not offensive to the taxpayers (your employer). It's the same argument used by those about bible studies on campus, etc. If you are a city/parish/state/federal employee then you should be held to a standard in regard to conduct.

There was more than like an initial over-correction at first ... and now there will be a correction ... which will probably over-corrected as well.
The key, like anything, is to be in the middle the majority of the time.

If anything this teacher should be fired for making a duck face on social media.

this probably should be 'quash'...I wish your teachers had focused on teaching and not giving personal opinions.

Bejie is damn near a perfect woman... except that dumb name and the fact that she probably has that terrible Baaahstan accent.
