I hate this commercial, and it is hard for me to say why.
Something about it just seems a bit arrogant. Like the commercial is saying “look how cool these people are. They live in Manhattan and they spend their Saturday afternoon playing flag football in Central Park. Don’t you wanna be like them? Well... you can, by wearing LL Bean.”

Honestly I don’t want to spend any Saturday afternoon playing flag football anywhere. I don’t give a frick where it is.
I’d much rather spend my Saturday afternoon fishing off the coast or in the marshes of Louisiana.
They should want to be more like me.
