You must not understand how Sheriff departments across the entire country work. They were not doing it for Ard, but in order to protect their own best interests by making sure they stayed employed. I am not supporting Ard at all, but nobody who hasn't filed tax returns for 5 years should be eligible for public office so I have no issue with the deputies filing suit.


The only way Ard knew about the child molestation is if was directly involved and doing it along with Perkins. Telling your boss, "....my 8 year old step son sucked me off last night", is not a conversation anyone is going to have. Even if Preston had something on Ard, child molestation and kiddie porn is not something people are going to look past. Hell he would probably realize his best and only option was to just whack Preston if he is as dirty as people say. Friends or no friends plenty of people end up dead over less offensive things.


No way Ard resigns unless something else proving his involvement comes out. He has way too much power and he isnt going to freely give it away.

The only person that ran against Ard in the last election. Looking into candidates past history, including financial history isn’t dirty politics, it’s just something candidates should expect opposition to do. That’s a non-issue compared to what’s going on now. Ard is a mandated reporter and Nak is probably going to delve into if Ard did everything he was supposed to do as a mandatory reporter.

The latest I've heard on this (related to the school situation) is that some parents of current and former students have been contacted by the school board and are being asked to attend meetings. No word yet on what those meetings will entail.

I hope Nak is man enough to go in an air the interview in it full entirely instead of going have a 45 min to an hour interview and showing 3 mins of what he wants.

I'm surprised Nak is allowed into Livingston Parish...I wonder if Ard is going to meet him at Hobby Lobby off O'Neal Lane. He shook the trees pretty hard with the Walker Elementary principal thing last year, pissed off the then Superintendent and got his butt banned from School Board Central office...oddly enough he dropped that story soon after with no follow up. Cox is still sitting at Walker Elementary banning parents from campus and running off teachers.

I don’t think this is gonna be the “gotcha” some of y’all think it is. Ard might be a cop first, but he’s true politician. He will try to deflect and not paint himself into a corner.

The thing is, Ard knows exactly what’s on all the tapes and info they pulled from Perkins house. All of LPSO does. Shy of him actually being on camera at Perkins home, he ain’t going anywhere. He will Be sheriff til he decides to groom his replacement just like willie did with him.

When people get to his level of power, common sense seems to go out the window. I think this is going to get worse for Ard as he tries to clear his name. He'll continue to dig his little hole deeper and deeper.
