From what has been said in that thread, exactly zero things in that restraining order surprise me.

We’re talking about uncharted territory for the school. They probably have no idea what to say or do and just don’t want to make things worse.
But you’re right, it is strange. I wonder if they were told not to to protect victims or if other school administrators are being investigated.
If the evidence seized so far only contains images/vid with the same child/children...and all their identities are known.... I would assume they are all family and they are getting the help they need now. Tomorrow marks 48hrs since the story broke. If they were to crank up the phone tree tomorrow - I think that is a reasonable amount of time to have passed without getting tooooo worked up.
Now - If the seized evidence indicates there are other children involved and a wider net s in need of casting - Well that's a whole different situation... and a very different set of phone calls to parents.

Getting Epsteined in the LP lockup is believable.
At a statewide lockup, possible but less so since Ard et all have less access or control.
If the Feds grab him because he is going to flip on other kiddy porn guys, no chance they can Epstein him.

With their well known connections and friendships with high ranking people within the parish, why haven’t the feds moved in on this?
This whole situation doesn’t make sense.

Slight difference between a guy connected to the Clintons and a fricking redneck out in the sticks.

In Louisiana it's the State Police.

I realize the mob mentality is to off this guy, but I would rather he spent years and years with FBI profilers so that maybe this can be stopped in the future. There has to be some reason this happened. Maybe I am naive. but I dont think someone is born this way. Was he abused? Drugs?

The worst post in the history of this message board. You decided to throw a dancing banana in with this disgusting trash to show how hot for him you are after reading he made videos of himself having sex with kids. You are pathetic, total garbage. But you think he’s hot. You boys.
I wish I held that title. I'm just a retard.
Sorry bout the banana.

Denny is fricked in the head beyond repair. He will make many jailhouse friends.

Several women on another site have claimed he's been dirty for years. Allegedly he carried a polaroid camera with him to snap pics of young women in exchange for letting them out of traffic stops.
So I'm guessing you mean "show me yours and I'll let you out of this ticket' type stuff. Not saying you're lying at all, but I just don't understand how stuff above happens and women don't immediately report it. Maybe that's part of the big scoop, that behavior like that has been reported for years and nothing was ever done about it. I don't know, just kinda thinking out loud here.
Disturbing, to say the least...

The State Police used to handle investigations that were beyond the capabilities of local, small town police departments. I'm sure they assist sheriff's offices when requested. The also handle many officer involved shootings to provide unbiased investigations, or at least the appearance of one.
The AG's Office has had a task force pursuing child pornographers for at least 10 or 12 years. Jeff Landry, our current AG, recently created the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, as touted repeatedly in his campaign ad. It's looking into Medicare Fraud, which I don't believe falls under his purview, and high prescription drug prices, which I don't think is even illegal. But the average voter doesn't know that and Jeff would say anything to get reelected.
To answer your question: In the past, LSP would investigate a Sheriff accused of a crime and/or the Feds. Now, maybe Jeff's new agency, the LBI, would investigate.

A cop was doing this in St. Charles recently. A girl at my work got stopped by him and he propositioned her. I think he ended up getting busted. Maybe earlier this year or last.

The best deterrent for crimes like these is to make HARSH examples out of anyone guilty of committing them.
If they want help, if they want psychiatrists, then they need to seek help when they realize they have these urges. Before they act on them.

I don’t think it is effective.
We have had the death penalty. People still kill.
Incest and crap line that had been going on since time began. Sexual compulsions as well.
Everyone knows the basics. Everyone knows what is right and wrong.
Something is going on that is beyond rational thought processes.

Of course.

Why are posts being deleted for no reason? The last few that just disappeared didn't violate the TOS at all. They weren't even controversial.

Not meaning to be crass but the women may have been happy with the transaction. It is in a state where women voluntarily show their tits for a string of 50 cent plastic beads, trading a boob flash for a $300 ticket seems like a deal in that context.
While admittedly a significantly different story remember that TN State Trooper didn't get caught because Barbi Cummings complained about sucking his dick he got caught because of his own cell phone video.
