I'm sure I'm going to frick this stat up and it's probably changed with a lot of the loosening on drug laws but 80% of our prison population in the United States are in for non-violent drug offenses.
In that case, yeah, we have too many people incarcerated. We should make room for people like this shot up a-hole.
