And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?

It never makes sense to get into a shootout with LEO

I admit I and most everyone have too much to live for and would likely not have a successful outcome. Therefore, I cannot see myself making a stand. However, I believe it makes perfect sense to stand against unjust laws. I believe the ATF not only enforce unjust laws, they create their own rules and enforce them as if they were law when they are not.

If they broke in during the night, it could happen in my house.

Sure, a no-knock warrant is different than a "standoff" type of shootout. A surprise breaking into my door at any time of day/night will likely lead to gunfire.

It's something I have struggled deeply with. I believe in the rule of law; however, certain things to me are violations of the Constitution, much less basic human rights. Anything less than a constitutional amendment to ban ARs in my eyes is an infringement, and any state or federal agency attempting to enforce that is fair game.

He probably forgot to renew his class 3 license and it expired at midnight and the ATF was already in battle gear ready to seize his now illegal cache of weapons.

Think how many inner city lives were spared getting this dangerous criminal off the streets.

On a local radio station this morning, they mentioned something about selling guns on the black market.

Not sure if that’s legit or not.

Also according to online reports, he was shot in the head and is currently on life support.

Who knows...could be the ATF knocking on doors looking foe things like FRTs. Believe it or not, they have ATF agents door knocking people that have bought FRTs online with credit cards.

Hasn't that been more the FBIs thing and not the ATF? 6am raid is the right MO, but wrong agency.

Here's the real story. This guy right here:

Probably given his position at the airport had accumulated alot of confiscated weapons when people were boarding planes.

Dude probably had a couple employees who thought it would be a good idea to sell these instead of handing them over to the ATF so they could ship them to Mexico to gang cartel members and so they could ultimately wind up back in the US to be used to kill black men in inner cities.

ATF is a jealous mistress. Don't step on their tuf.

His party affiliation on his voter records shows optional, so I’m assuming democrat.

For reference, this is clearly some time after the raid.

ITS STILL DARK.

If they were already watching this guy (clearly they were) and given he was a pillar of the community, they couldn't just approach him at work?

Why the need to knock down his door in the dark? They think he's somehow going to melt down a cache of weapons or toss them into a Black Hole gateway to Hades he had in his basement if they were polite and acted like civilized human beings?

One of our government-boot-lickers on here is going to have to give me a solid reason this needed to go down like it did.

This guy looks like Dwight from the Office.

Worked with a guy who had done some videos for ATF. He was an amiable kind of guy, but he really despised the ATF. It's evidently a very toxic culture.
