CCs coffee is also moving into the old Popeye's on Range in Denham. They are also in the process of building a Salad Station and Capt. D's on Range as well.

I've been to a Louisiana location a few times and thought it was actually pretty decent. This was over a year ago though.

Of all the businesses on Range that got flooded out, I can't believe POPEYE's is the one that is not going to re-open.

I read that a while back, but for some reason (don't quote me on this), I thought they had backed out?

It hasn't caught on well because they aren't serving the LSU community. They opened one up in Fayetteville a year or so ago and they had a line down the street for weeks from what I heard. Whataburger would make a killing near LSU.

Whataburger has not really caught on down here. Only know of two locations, Siegen Lane and Airline Highway in Gonzales.

If they had a location on Burbank or Lee, they would do far better sales than Airline or Siegan.

So when is the development on Lee/Burbank going to start construction?

Isn't there some New Orleans burger place going up in that area? Atomic Burger maybe?!?
