Right after they build a loop. Or turning lanes on Lee for that matter.

Where did you get this info (other than Rouses, which was in the advocate)?

Sauces.

Not sure. My only source of public information is the BR Business Report, The Advocate and here.

so BR cant bring in any real outside investments?

Can you honestly see someone from a huge, successful corporation(such as Top Golf) visiting BR and going back to their main corporate office to say "Guys I know exactly where we should open a new location....Baton Rouge!"

I'm sure that comment was made in jest. I do think Top Golf would do incredibly well if located off I-10 just past Gonzales, about 15 miles outside of Baton Rouge and 50 miles away from New Orleans.

Golfers and hobby golfers would travel to support this.

Plus, it would be far enough away to keep the rift raft away.

Still wouldn't be enough to support a Top Golf.

I haven't look at all of the metrics, so I can't honestly or accurately assess it.

However, I do know there are a lot of avid golfers here. All you have to do to is look at the number of golf courses and how many people play on them daily.

Not sure if that "translates" to these people visiting a Top Golf location, but when you mix in A/C, beer, other entertainment, spray misters and good food considering what it is, it's no surprise to see Top Golf do so well.

Beyond that, I've been to Top Golf. I thought it was shite and severely overpriced.

For the most part, I agree. But there are some areas of Baton Rouge (and I am sure New Orleans) that have plenty of disposable income.

Country Club of Louisiana
Oak Hills
Santa Maria
Bocage
Manchac Plantation
Woodridge

just to name a few.

But what about NBR? You better not let Mayor Broome or Gravy see this racist arse list.
