Considering Gates's dad was a lawyer and not a wood cutter, you'd be right.

I hope that waiter was fired. Who fricking confronts a customer about a tip? What kind of frickery is that?

"Bill Gate"

"The waiter had a strange feeling on his face..."?

I believe "expression" or "look" was the word they were searching for?

Misspelled word in the fourth line. "Tip Of" unnecessarily capitalized in sixth line.

I swear people are getting dumber. You'd think people would proofread shite before they post it on the internet for everyone to see.

I've seen at least 10 different variations of the Warren Buffet quote regarding politicians and cutting their pay.

ETA: I believe this is the actual quote, rewritten and fricked up more times than a person can count.

BUFFETT: I can— I can— I can end the deficit in five minutes.

QUICK: How?

BUFFETT: You just pass a law that says that anytime there’s a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election. Yeah. Yeah. Now you’ve got the incentives in the right place, right?

Bill Gate was not the son of a wood cutter. He was the privileged son of a Stone Cutter.

That's what happened when non-professional people started using it.

The guy who posted it is from India and his English spelling tendencies show this. Whether he made the meme or not, it's not only false from a factual standpoint, but from a "moral" standpoint. 'If my dad was poor, you have to be too.'

Same thing happened when Facebook turned into MySpace when they allowed people without a school licensed email to use the site.

Except that his dad, William Gates II, was not poor. He was a very successful attorney in Seattle. Not big-time rich but law firm partner rich, certainly not poor.

Before I forget, yes the daughters would get it.

Not only is it totally fabricated, rife with spelling and grammatical mistakes, and founded upon an awkward confrontation that would never happen, but it also gets Bill Gates' (whose name it misspells) biography wrong.

Bill Gates' father was a big-shot lawyer and his mother was on the board at First Interstate Bank. He was the product of an immense amount of money. The reason he was able to become so proficient at computer language is because he attended an elite private school that had one of the few mainframe computers of its kind in its basement and he was allowed unfettered after-school use of it.
