Is all retail open in Texas? I know there are restrictions on occupancy, but I thought everyone could at least open.

I don't know what she expected to happen after what we saw in NYC.

How many people? As a percentage

Impossible to know. In my county they took a few blood samples from back in February the hospital had and found two positive tests from early February. If I remember correctly some antibodies tests have said 10-20% of the population already had it.

I’m not claiming anything as irrefutable fact, just that there is plenty of evidence that it was here before the SHTF in early March and outside of NYC, the country wasn’t overloaded.

Don’t call the police. They are pulling for the virus and wish 2/3 of the population would die. The police I know hate each other.

Retail is open at 25%

But that doesn't mean everyone is open.

I’m interested by people that feel the need to defend unpopular politicians this much.

I was finished with an actual Research Based graduate degree in a STEM field and starting career working for a large upstream Oil and Gas firm in Houston.

At the time, in no way did I feel I had the life experience necessary to be a politician.

But, at 27 I was a hell of a lot more accomplished than this moron.
She got elected due to her ethnicity, plain and simple.

Bars, Gyms, Hair Salons, Nail Salons, Tattoo Parlors and Strip Clubs among other businesses are still closed per the governor.

This was a tactic of the East German Stasi.
They learnt it from the Soviets who learnt it from the Tsarist authorities.

It was officially called “Failure to Denounce” in their legal code.

Scary insidious. So “1984”-ish.
