I thank the Lord every single day I don't live in fricking Russia. It's overall a horrible country.
Where have you been in Russia?
I hear the visas are a real bitch to get and the language is difficult to learn, but some of the cities are world class and the women are top tier, although a little cold.
What was it that caused you to dislike it so much?

I always thought Oymyakon was the coldest city. I guess it’s just considered the coldest place on earth where people live as it only has 500 residents.

Russia must have had the same single architect design every building post Russian Revolution until now. Every Russian city looks the same to me.

If you don't want your cities to look like this, don't become a Communist shithole.
Truth is, I feel bad for Russians, they don't know what life is like in a free society.

Russia has a pretty spectacularly bad environment record.
Thanks to the Soviet Union, the Aral Sea is gone.

You have to be approved by the KGB to go there, so I doubt it.

Todays forecast
It's practically spring time this week compared to what they're expecting next week.

Norilsk reminds me of Mordor
No wonder it's so cold. That thick cloud of pollution is blocking out the sun

No one is asking the epa to stop enforcing regulations on poisonous heavy metal discharge. We want them to stop being a political arm used against business owners and political opponents.

Crap, and that 10 day forecast is mostly with southerly winds.

Some more fun pollution images of Norilsk.

I was expecting the city to be located in one of the northernmost parts of Russia; it's not. A quick inspection on a map reveals that it's on about the same latitude as northern Scandinavia and Alaska.
