Searched "lick" and "doctor"...didn't see this posted yet.

Like that makes it better. Damn Gen Z.

A video that has gone viral shows a young girl licking a tongue depressor at a Jacksonville doctor’s office and putting it back in the jar with the others.
A sign posted above the jar reads "PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH MEDICAL SUPPLIES! THANK YOU!"
quote:
According to Ward, she shared the video on her personal Snapchat with a few of her friends.
It has since been posted to Facebook by someone else.
Ward said the video doesn’t show what happened after the camera stopped rolling.
She claimed, “I removed the items that were even surrounding it.”
Like that makes it better. Damn Gen Z.

That's almost always the case.

Licking challenge.
off the top of my head, this phrase is one of the worst things Iv'e encountered so far in my adult lifetime (mid 30s currently). Planking challenge, tide pod challenge, licking challenge, etc. These aren't even a fricking challenge! There's no prize, there's nothing challenging about it, and there is zero point to any of them.

Why not? If no one is cracking down on these attention mongers, it will continue to escalate.
There's a reason no one will tell "bomb" on an airplane to be funny, or to get attention. It's against the law and not tolerated.
Same need to be applied here.
Better nip it in the bud.

This all started with the ALS ice bucket challenge.
And I’m starting to wonder if that cause was worth all this.

Sadly the social media attention/likes and Instagram followers is the ultimate prize to these fricked up people

Que? Heard of planking, owling, or any of the other viral atrocities prior to the ice bucket challenge?

There actually is a challenge: the challenge of having everyone think that you are a vile super-moron for the rest of your life.

what gets me is that this really is a textbook case of how ultra, hyper-in the moment today's NOW NOW NOW society is. As someone said above these dullards do these dumbass "challenges" simply to get a couple likes on social media. Then it's forgotten 3 days later. Nobodyo will ultimately care or remember 2 weeks from now if you successfully did or did not participate in these stupid challenges. It's moronic.

These people seem to be stupid enough....that we need to make a bunch of challenge videos for them to copy....like a jumping off of my roof head first challenge, or jumping from a tree with a rope around neck challenge.

We don’t need more laws. Someone who knows her needs to handle up so she knows better. Forget jail. Time to cull the herd.

This is getting as bad as the planking fad was. Sad.

Yes. And none of them were as mainstreamed as this insofar as the fascination of filming yourself as doing it. Planking dates back to the 80s.
Now since the ice bucket challenge, it seems every six months there is a new stupid film fad be it eating tide pods or walking into traffic blindfolded.

idk dude, the planking challenge (I still can't even believe that that actually became a "thing" it's so indescribably stupid) was pretty damn main stream. I think the Office even did an intro one episode of them doing a planking challenge.

I wish these idiots would try the "jump off a building and see if I live" challenge instead.
