Yep, either give them the code or they are going to bust it open. They were getting in that safe no matter what.
so make them bust it open. this attitude is disgusting.

White liberals cheered the burning down of cities across the country during riots but pretended to be mad at some rich politicians getting “scared” They didn’t care when regular citizens got scared due to lack of police

Option A - Liberty Safe doesn’t provide master code. FEDs still open safe but destroy it in process.
Option B - Liberty Safe provides code under warrant. FEDs open safe and keep it intact and valuable for owner.
Am I way off?
One of these options maintains your customer base and the other doesn't. Also, the statement from Liberty doesn't state that Liberty was issued a warrant.

Option C: Make the Feds get a warrant or order TO Liberty Safe to provide the backdoor code.
That search warrant likely said they could search for and collect evidence in the house. The backdoor code to get into the safe was not located in the house.
Liberty is not required to give them a backdoor code that is in THEIR office without an order or warrant saying they have to

Yea. If the feds are needing to get into a safe because of a warrant, chances are the owner is not going to need the safe going forward.

Which begs the question: why does Liberty have backdoor access to customer's safes?
Is that normal in the safe industry?
Probably. I imagine there's a backdoor on pretty much every electronic safe these days.

hopefully this is not a serious post. if it is, you argue like a woman.

its that a company that branded itself as a liberty loving organization so quickly capitulated to an increasingly authoritarian law enforcement.
The FBI had a warrant and shared with the the company. The company obliged by law. No one on X has seen said Warrant.
Re: Backdoors. Companies have backdoors into everything in case the customer loses access, etc. It’s not initially nefarious.
Im not gonna bitch and moan about a company following a court order.

Mike Ward's better start carrying another brand of safes if he wants his business to survive.

I don't know the specifics, other than the fact that he was there, and that 1/6 was like 9/11 making love to the Holocaust then giving birth to Super Hitler.

Well they might as well go ahead and file bankruptcy now. They are done.
Total bullshite they have a backdoor code to start with much less give it to LEO.
