It's about exerting more control over people's lives. They have learned that they can use this to their advantage to continue to print money in order to "save people's lives", even though there is no truth to it.

I finally got a belly full of the fear mongering and turned the other way.
That said, what do we make of the healthcare folks pleading on social media about how terrifying it is and to get vaccinated. Are they all full of shite? A lot of them are well respected, smart people. Most are conservatives as well. What gives? I have been ignoring them (but I am vaccinated)…….am I wrong for being fed up with the mayhem/sky falling?

I’m with you. I’m tired of it. Exhausted by it. Don’t know who to trust but our family has been pretty lucky ,only one severe case amongst the handful. I’ve gotten the vaccine as I was job searching and didn’t want anything holding me back. To each his own.

This crap always makes me think of the children’s story the Emperor’s New Clothes.
You would think the masses would get tired of this crap and become immune to it. I’ve noticed quite the opposite to where people don’t seem to be able to get enough hysteria in their lives. I’ve even noticed people causing this hysteria for themselves.

Are you serious? Printing money and giving it away? It firms up your voting block at the expense of the taxpayers. It's been the democratic ploy for decades now. And appears to work well.
We used to scoff at higher taxes, even vote people out of office if they mentioned it, now we view higher taxes on the middle class as deserved for years of being good citizens and just working and not causing trouble.
