Several in my area but one main complaint in styling is the plastic trim that runs 360 degrees around the vehicle.. Lower trim, front bumper rear bumper and fender flairs (higher trim is body colored), looks cheap something you'd see on a RAV4.


If Id own one it's all getting painted body colored.

What does that mean in terms of time? Did they give you a ballpark estimate? I saw another poster say they only get 6 per month, but I refuse to believe they are taking 3.5 years to fulfill orders.

They actually don't. All trims have a bottom "ring" of unpainted polymer (of some sort). The GX470/460 did not have that. It is practical in some ways but also is generally viewed as a cost savings measure.

Here is a luxury plus, the black trim ring is easy to see around the rockers and bumpers. The overtrail gets a wheel well rim as well.

I was told 6-9 months is typical wait time.

Keep in mind not everybody on the list will actually buy when it comes available, or will not wait. Flexibility on trim and colors also come into play.

The GX is also built in Japan, so it’s not clear how the pricing will be affected by tariffs.
