Post count boom is the lamest of all the comebacks. Anyone with over 1000 posts/year on a message board is a certified time waster.

There are a lot of bad parents who should of never had kids, this forum is no different. Like all the posts claiming it’s a short time rare thing though.

I will let my 1-yr old watch Mickey etc on the ipad in a restaurant. The other option is to have her freaking out and screaming the entire time, which would be a huge disruption for all other customers in the place.
My 4yr old and 8yr old don't get the same treatment. They're old enough to hold conversations with us at dinner.
We don't go out to eat that often, so it's a small sacrifice to make. I do get a lot of looks from people that have zero perspective, and I am tempted to take the ipad away from my 1yr old just to ruin their meals. Don't be so judgmental towards others when you have zero perspective.
I do it so my kid doesn't ruin your meal. You're welcome.

My friend is a pediatrician and he calls iPads "brain melters" because all the kids he diagnoses with brain diseases like adhd, asburgers, etc all sit with their faces glued to an iPad
