I enjoy changing the title sometimes to see if people even notice

e.g. “Office DJ”

The results are in and people don’t pay attention to it very much

My company has a standard signature graphic for all employees. I don't know why it would be any other way. Before they mandated it a few years ago, one lady in our office made hers using comic sans.

My old job required it

Actually got a lot of feedback on it, it was just a cheesy quote he found online

I never understood putting your email in your signature. If they're reading your email, then they already have your email address

I dont understand this either. You just emailed me, I have your email address. In fact, no one could see your email address in your signature without seeing your email address in the string or address box. Its redundant.

If you don't have required disclosures and confidentiality statements you aren't important or you need legal council.

Had a guy at work that took the cake on this one. He had a quote. . . and who was he quoting?

Himself.

We had an idiot one time include a quote in his email signature that read something like “If nothing is ever expected of my superiors, can anything be expected of me”.

Needless to say he was transferred out pretty quick. Would have loved to hear how he defended that one. Idiot.

Honorable mention goes to several idiots that include pretentious Latin phrases in theirs.
