I'm sure there is one out there.
I have my posing coach do it for me.
I've never asked him to explain it to me
link... I'm guessing I'll be around 13-15%. Just started cutting Jan 4.. Show is October 6

I deliberately ate like a horse the past 12 months to make gainz. The gainz have come. Now I'm upping the cardiovascular while still lifting. I'll lose about 10 lbs of mostly belly fat over the next few months and be great at 190

Good point to bring to his thread.
A few years ago I had a lot of routine blood work done per my request (no health complaints) just to spot check the important things, and it all came back normal, except cholesterol a little high at 220. Good cholesterol HDL was very high, which is good.
I take no meds for anything. I do take a big antioxidant regimen of supplements.
Never had any body scans, so I don't know whether or not I've got a tumor somewhere.

BMI says I could way 125 pounds and still be a healthy weight. That's insane - short of some sort of life threatening illness I could never weigh 125.

It is always the most startling thing for me when I come back to the U.S. after a vacation or working overseas. I am 5'11", 160 lbs, and even I felt a bit on the chunkier side when I was in Spain this past summer
Having traveled through much of Europe and some of the Caribbean and Central America, while certainly you don't see as many fat fricks in those places as in the US, they aren't these rail thin people. A 5'11 guy who weighs 160 isn't chunky anywhere, unless he's in a damn gulag.

5'10", 180 and I like the new BMI a lot better. It says I only need 2 pounds to be healthy.
I could lose that by skipping beer for a whole month but that won't happen during Mardi Gras.

Well to be fair, it's a terrible barometer to measure individual well-being and was developed and is designed for the purpose of measuring swaths of people.

I think people might be surprised at how well their body looks and feels at weights that seem preposterous.
Again, I'm 5'11", and the healthiest/fittest I have ever been was when I was about 145 pounds. I spent a year on deployment drinking no alcohol, eating only what you need, working out almost every single day, patrolling for hours and hours in 110+ temperatures with 60 pounds of equipment, etc. - I was fitter than hell when I came back to the U.S. I could bench the most I ever have, run the fastest mile I ever have, very strong through my core and legs, etc., etc.
Everyone's frame is different, but this country would very much be improved if every single adult dropped 10 or 15 pounds overnight.

It is good for large populations, bad for individual.

That's probably the best explanation I've heard

Crossfit is a liability to your health. And like fat, added muscle is not healthy. Healthcare loves calisthenics and cardio. Crossfit is excessive to good health. Bottom line

Certainly true, but to be fair, it was summer in Spain. A bunch of hot 25 year old European women looking flawless with their accompanying Euro-skinny boyfriends everywhere I turned.

Get your body fat checked if you think the standardize BMI charts do not fit your current health status.
This is the only answer.

all the people on here that think they would look famished at xxx weight, would likely love themselves at that weight plus 5-8# of muscle. You would look like a guy from 300.

Dude, it's all a scam to get more money out of you. By that calculation, JJ Watt is considered obese. That's right, a man who is 6'6 290 lbs, has a 6 pack and works out harder than most people on this planet is considered OBESE. What should be done is a body fat percentage calculation. That should give a better picture of what is considered overweight and obese, not bmi.

Ugh. Hated seeing that. And then the Spanish guys get all uppity with American women because they think they're all MTV whores. Had a girlfriend spend her summer in Spain and get groped by an older man in public. No one gave a shite. I still don't think she's recovered from it.
