re: Let’s talk about women and how they choose to dress

When women say “they dress that way for themselves”, they’re half-correct.
The proximate motivation is actually to compete with other women. This is how female social hierarchies work. The problem is that it’s not clear what exactly they’re competing for, because what they get is the attention of hard leggers they actually don’t want anything to do with.
Older women used to slut-shame. That effectively served as a limiter to the “higher-end of slut dressing” for most women. This allowed for the female competition to function, similar to how salary caps in sports keep things from getting stupid.
Once that became “frowned upon”, well, things got stupid.

Something something would not take home to mama.
My son brought home a classy girl not a trashy one.

You've obviously raised your boy right. Well done.

So just so I understand it’s men’s fault that you choose to not have any class????
interesting
Also, some nerd slob that chooses to dress in crocs is not the same as dressing like a slut.
A slob is a slob
a woman that chooses to dress in something that’s inappropriate to gain some sort of attention at a place where you shouldn’t be seeking attention i.e. church is just weird low character, low morals
What you’ll find is bottom of the barrel dudes. No high class dude with character convictions and morals wants a woman like that ….once a whore always a whore that’s the way I look at it.

I'm saying that like pretty much all humans, if a behavior is positively reinforced they're going to continue to do it. Stop giving them attention and that ends the attention seeking behavior (some mental health issues aside).

Both are trashy. If you can't dress respectfully when going to church (and I'm not talking about folks who can't afford nicer clothes) then yeah, I'm equating you the same. It's the same level of disrespect for a space.

And yet plenty of dudes marry women just like that.

The ones that tick me off are the ones that show a shite ton of cleavage and then contended when you notice their cleavage.
I almost always respond with “yeah I bet when you put that top on this morning you were hoping no one would look”.

This board definitely is hypocrisy at its finest. How long was the Sidney Sweeney sheer dress thread?

A lot of people are in church to be seen.

Could you two get a room and quit flirting in every thread? TiA

IDK I try to live my life and would like to think that others should do the same in a manner of which you have your own standards of what’s acceptable and right what you do shouldn’t be influenced by the wind or what somebody else thinks.
That’s the definition of not having any sort of personal accountability maybe I’m old-fashioned, don’t know .

He sucks cock, I'm not interested. I've tried to tell him his advances are unwanted.

I mean I do too.
But, I also know that a lot of the behaviors that folks complain about women doing on this board are also re-enforced by a lot of those same people that complain. How many divorce threads have we had talking about they married her when she was hot and young, but now she's some crazy chick taking half of their things?

Once you understand women nature...your either getting alot of sex or you dont want anything to do with them.
Posted on 12/8/25 at 9:42 am to R11
The fact that so many go to the beach or public pools in basically skimpy underwear never ceases to amaze me.

They call it "Empowerment". Just go with it. The more they show, the more powerful they are.
But, for Pete's Sake, do NOT objectify them, sexualize them or ogle them.
