Yolanda may have thunk she seen a fully automatic bazooka and a pack of skittles... but she didn't. It is poor journalism to run with that.
I hope the cop got home, had roast beef with the good dark country gravy, mashed potatoes, peas, homemade bread, and pie. I hope he finished it with a beer and a BJ. I hope he then slept like a baby.

You just identified him as a black dude and he is, but did you notice how the article neglected that...If there wasn't video footage, the article would have included races. This article was actually written how all articles should be written, without race and without referring to the perp as just a good kid.
It's unfortunate that articles only tend to state the truth when there is video and its not a controversial/hard to prove justifiable shooting.

I guess they will put that cop on paid leave, I hope. I'm sure he really will need time to getting over taking someone's life and dealing with the fact it was almost his life. Sure glad I'm not reading about another dead cop.

Yep. Many hours are still required even when it is obvious. I also hope he can use the overtime.
All that is left for me at this point is to wonder about the grouping.

Some guys in JPSO shoot competitions. Some guys can barely pass their qualifications. Either way, he put shots on target effectively
