Been having this argument about once a week since we bought our house and moved in together. I think throw pillows are a waste of money. They should be locked in the attic or storage until guests come over then you make things look nice.

Wife INSISTS that they be kept out. Literally half our bed is covered in about 12 pillows of different shapes. They end up on the ground for most of the week where the animals make it their nest and eventually track hair onto the bed.

Is this something I should keep pushing for or no?

Not marriage material.

No shite. Wasting money is a woman’s favorite hobby.

Debate between men and women since the beginning of time. I am positive couples argued over pillows when we lived in caves and huts.

There’s a pretty well-known doctor, Dr. Rick, who has a pretty good vid on YouTube about this. Just search Dr Rick throw pillows.

ETA: I’ll link it for you

I didn't try to change her, but I only wanted to build a bigger bed room to have room to actually put all of those pillows when I take them off the bed. It's like they need their own closet at night when not on the bed. Trip over them in the dark etc.

Why do they stay on the floor for most of the week? Your wife should make the bed every morning and put the pillows back if she insists on having them. Throw pillows are not the hill you want to die on.

I've never understood people who do tons of silly decorative shite when they make their bed that nearly no one will see. Want to have a couple of extra pillows on the bed with pillow covers so that your basic pillows aren't showing? Go for it. Beyond that? frick off with that silly shite.
