The right wants the government’s hands in marijuana laws, abortion, religion, foreign wars, etc. Like I said, both sides are for big government when it suits them.

So let’s think about this for just a second guys.

You guys are telling me this is the conspiracy theory:

In order to prevent gun violence, the far left helped an 18 year old shoot and kill 21 people?

So the answer to prevent gun deaths, is to actually kill a bunch of people with guns hoping someone just takes them all away?

Foreign wars huh. WRONG

I do believe your boy Biden is getting us in to this Ukraine debacle. Now if you were talking about the Bush Administration and the Iraq war I can agree because as most know the Bushes are part of the swamp along with the Mccains and Mitt Romney. Life time politicians make a killing with all this shite.

This is where you’re missing the mark. The government’s motivation with gun control is not to reduce gun violence, but to remove potential impediments to their authority. In many countries, gun control was effectively enacted just a few short years before their governments rapidly descended into authoritarianism. These countries went rapidly from banning guns to banning dissent and making opposition figures disappear.

Would a group that desired gun confiscation see terrorism as a legit method for convincing law abiding folks to support greater gun control? Well, that pattern of horrific school shootings leading to public support for enacting gun control worked in Australia and New Zealand, so it’s not like the precedent isn’t there.

It is not uncommon for organizations to have stated aims very different from their true motives. Just look at how Planned Parenthood touts all of these legitimate health services they pretend to offer, when in reality, more than 90% of what they do (besides admin and advertising) is abortions.

The false flag theory is that the feds or state ordered the local keystone cops to not enter so the resulting deaths will result in gun control laws. This is a variation of the Sandy Hook false flag theory. In Sandy Hook the theory is that the deaths were faked or the killer was a plant sort of like a Manchurian Candidate thing.

This conspiracy theory is slightly different in that since wasn't until federal agents came the killer was neutralized. If you are an Abbott supporter you support that this was solely a federal operation because Biden was elected. This conspiracy theory clearly states that the feds allowed this to happen to Latino kids so Latino voters stop their trend toward Republicans.

So which government officials could possibly be in control of this Uvalde fiasco? Abbott? He was given wrong information? Beto? Lol

Cruz? Lol.

So who? Far right? Cause they planned it wonderfully with the NRA convention, whoops! Far left NGO? They forgot to tell Beto? Come on

Some of ya’ll need to turn off the tv and get off the internet a little more.

I don’t know. I’m just trying to clarify why conspiracy theorists shouldn’t be laughed at on their face. Conspiracy theories should be taken with a grain of salt and examined to find out where they fall apart rather than simply dismissed and buried.

Once again no sane person believes that Ralph

Now the idea that the alphabet agencies ignore some threats might have some legs to it

Does not apply to people who threaten to shoot up schools.

The follow-on for that is felons and 5150 folks.

Now the question is why do we have the right to restrict their rights when there is no provision for that in the 2A?

I think the majority of people are comfortable stripping this right from felons and mentally unstable people but that lets the air out of the militant "shall not be infringed" argument. It really is it can only be infringed when enough of the right people agree.

BTW I think the simple felon provision is poorly thought out. I would much rather someone convicted of a non-violent white-collar crime possess a firearm than someone with a string (or even one) misdemeanor assault conviction.

The reality is most everyone is OK with some levels of "infringement".

There have been semi frequent school and other public mass shootings since approximately 1998 and there hasn’t been a single concrete step taken by the government to take your guns. You have a martyrdom complex.

Exactly? Nor Biden nor Obama has ever even insinuated they will take away average citizen’s guns.

The smart thing to do is have an open mind. Starting at the "conspiracy folks are dumb" is really dumb.

But having a closed mind (but not COMPLETELY closed) is not a bad thing. There is another term for it - "healthy skepticism".

To be open to any theory or idea is why everything from wacky political extremists to religious cults to everythig else exist on college campuses. It's because the kids arrive and say "I'm going to college to learn an I will have an open mind" and then they get sucked into shitty stuff like cults and whatnot because they went in without appropriate skepticism.
'
Same with conspiracy theorists.

The OP question is a good one, why the hell of all the schools in the world would the CIA or someone choose rural Texas as a place to send in some "actor" (who did a pretty convincing job of acting crazy...maybe so convincing that we shouldnt have an "open mind" and just conclude...yep...he be crazy)...why would this be done by some local cops here?

I’ve seen some nuts on here saying the Uvalde police dept was in on it hence their inaction. Really? The CIA or whoever chose fricking Uvalde Texas as the ground zero for this psyop? Meanwhile the actual government agency involved, the Border Patrol, actually did its its job. So small town local law enforcement is in on the deep state plot but not the actual alphabet agency. Makes total sense.

My question as to the “why” refers to why would the local police chief (the one who put a pause on the assault of the gunman) be in on the conspiracy? Does he strike you as someone who would be on the take with this White House?

Edit: It looks like Uvalde County went Trump in both 2016 and 2020, in case anyone is wondering the political dynamics in the county.

Why would you assume that if there was a conspiracy, it would have to be tied to the White House or a political party?
