got a hurricane hunter plane in the air... but it's doing atmosphere sampling around Laura and not going into it

How often do we see such a drastic change in path from one update to the very next? A 300+ mile swing?

Those were wind gusts for Betsy. I’m also talking about at the airport where the reading is made. Areas south of town may have during a past storm but there’s no official readings.
