If that run by the HWRF actually verified that would put a 959 cat 2/3 almost right over BR metro- that could be significantly worse than Gustav.

HWRF and HMON have been pretty consistent on blowing Laura up for a few days now. That coupled with the Euro and GFS struggling with intensity so far this season doesn't bode well. That said, I still think they meet somewhere in the middle. Global models aren't picking up on something and the intensity models are prone to overshoot.

MUCH worse than Gustav. The difference between 92mph Gustav (BR reading) and 125mph is immense.
