Slowly moving eastward, I see. My parents are near the old fairgrounds so I assume it’ll be 2-3 more days and that’s it.

Looks like the power that was restored this morning between Hazel St & Cities Serv Hwy is down again. Hope they can get it back online again soon.

Mrs Dawg and I secured the house and are staying out of town until water and power come back. Neighbor called and said some guy(John from Texas) mowed everyone's lawn on the street yesterday. Wouldn't take any money. I feel like a slacker!

thanks Fish but no, we’re all good. Tonight will be the first night without the little 6500 running. It’s gloriously quiet right now.

Had my chosen (local) roofer there for the inspector visit after the hail storm in May. Felt comfortable with it - figured it couldn’t hurt when it came to making sure the inspector didn’t miss any damage found by the roofer.

A friend from my hometown mowed our yard yesterday. While he was here we cleaned up my neighbors yard and he mowed it too. So many people local and from afar helping our area out! He wouldn't take cash but I gave him a bottle of bourbon for doing it

Just looked at Hilton super quick .. just searched for tomorrow night but nothing. Try Expedia maybe? Get a bigger pool -- I'd look but IDK when you're needing.

If entergy’s outage map is correct, a good portion of Sulphur came back online this evening.

My wife texted me a couple of hours ago that areas of Ham Reid and Gauthier supposedly had power. Guess she got it off of Facebook or something, she’s in Lafayette while I’m in generator land with shitty cell service, but I hope that shite is true.

Just bring that shite a little ways north entergy. Please and thank you.

I don’t want to look at the map yet. My electrician is supposed to be replacing my weather head either today or tomorrow. I don’t know how long it will take for Entergy to do the tie-in after.

Can anyone confirm the entergy map showing power on between Maplewood drive and I-10 between Hazel st. and Post Oak road? Is it fully restored or going in and out?

Waiting to hear the same thing before we pack up and head back. My house is cleaned up, just waiting on power now.

eta: just talked with someone who confirmed power is back on in the Rose Park Area, north of McMurray Park.
