Tornadoes everywhere around me.
Guess this is karma for saying the hurricane won't hit Louisiana.
Eta: thanks for the downvote

So Lake Charles has no water. No power. No nothing.
I guess they’re really just a country town when you get down to it. This is going to suck.

Dam, I could use one of those.

The telephone pole that Hurricane Track's camera box was on in Cameron was knocked over by surge. The owner of the Shell station seen on the camera took a drone video of the surrounding area, and Mark Sudduth spotted the yellow camera box. It also had pressure gauges and other instruments in it that recorded data until the surge took it out. The camera continued to record for around a minute after it went under water.
He's asked if local authorities in the area can retrieve the box before it comes up missing.
Upon further review, Mark has determined that the pole snapped from the wind just minutes prior to getting the camera into the eye. No doubt when it snapped that the surge was near the camera, but the wind took the pole down first. Now, they are trying to recover the cam box.

Getting pics through my family of Grand Chenier. It's a grease spot. Really sad for those people who have gone through so much over the years.

Strongly considering staying in NOLA for a week or two longer. Just need someone to go throw away the food in my fridge.

They are including all deaths from Laura, including Haiti and Dominican Republic which have the majority of deaths.
I think.

I’m going throw everything in my fridge and rest I couldn’t take in my freezer. Wife is being called into the hospital so I’m pretty much free.
You probably don’t want a stranger in your house but I’d do it if you really needed it.
I don’t have an email address without my name so I’ll email you if you post it and we’ll coordinate.

Why I’m going down tomorrow and giving mine a wipe out and wipe down. I have no idea how people are supposed to live down there with no electric and no water.
So I don’t know what we’re going to do if wife has to stay and work in hospital.
I work mobile so if it wasn’t for that I’d stay in BR for a month.

They got the surge everyone was afraid of for Lake Charles. See a gauge near there that appears to have reached 17' and it's 4' higher than Audrey was.
Very sad.
