Well, my shop is going to need quite a bit of work. All the roll up doors blew through. Damaged a few cars we parked inside. New roof and trim, new fence and gate, but the old building held up pretty well. Offices are untouched.

Considering where your shop is, and how big it is, that is not terrible.

Correct. We have a huge mask over the city right now. No droplets.

Welcome to Citizens Insurance. And perhaps a new fee for all of us.

In all, I’m pretty pleased with my particular outcome. Biggest problem is going to be manning the openings. No doors and a lot of expensive tools to protect

My house is OK. Minimal shingle loss and all the windows held, some outer panes cracked. Month old fence is gone. My 30x15 shed is half collapsed and spun about 60 degrees. Overall we're very lucky

Saving over $2000 a year on home insurance since I moved from LA to MS and no longer deal with an LA citizens policy. Plus I am insured for $100k more. LA insurance rates are horrible across all types.

Latoya has handled these two back to back hurricanes better than any other Mayor in the country. Thank god we have the S&WB protecting us otherwise we would look like Hackberry.

Don’t think NOLA has gotten a whole lot of rain since Monday
Today may be the most rain from these two storms
But one afternoon downpour can flood the city

This rain isnt sustained enough to be a problem in New Orleans. Very fortunate here.

9-12 ft of storm surge. So it looks like they were about 10 ft off on the prediction.

In-laws final,y responded they were in a lull. Heavy limb damage but boat still ok. They seem to think they got through everything but my radar shows them still getting some weather from the tail.
