Yes it's in Iowa, but I don't know how it faired yet. The east side of Calcasieu got hit hard.

Huh?

Iowa got the worst part of the eye.

To clarify, Iowa was in the eastern side of the eyewall. I don't think they were ever in the eye. That's why I was saying they got constant strong winds without the break while the calm of the eye passed.

Anything from the eastern side of the lake around heberts or grand lake area yet? Sounds like surge was worse between there and vermillion on eastern side.

Do you know where the northeastern part of the eye wall is?

Look at where Iowa is

Does TWC just storm chase and fear monger? Any actual reporting?

I never watch but they have followed this thing the whole way just posting every worst-case scenario they can. Now they are saying every river in Arkansas is about to flood.

Yes. I was off by a few miles from what I had remembered from last night and thought that the worst of the eastern eyewall had passed closer to LC.

I stand corrected and I agree that Iowa may have had the worst weather other than Cameron, Hackberry, Oak Grove, and Creole along the coast.

When I saw in between livecasts, them showing highlight reels of their coverage, in like 10 minute movies, I knew TWC was a self promoting joke that cares only about views, not victims.

This hasn't been great. They really should be checking out the the greater LC area and the hardest hit areas instead of having a chick reporting from fricking Little Rock.

I get why to an extent. It's their job to report but seems like it's more "ZOMG everything is danger" than actual reporting.

Can we change their name to The Karen Channel?

If you were watching last night Abrams spent all night trying to get Cantore to come over to her hotel. The weather-channel on air crew orgy may still be going on.

even the experts were confused because the were relying on the radar in Houston which apparently threw them off as far as the track went..it's all good
