New plane entering #Laura is finding surface wind estimates of 130-135 mph, which would make Laura a Category 4 hurricane.

Just came back on here. Just a little breezy, was both surprised and enraged by the outage.

Does anyone have insight into what the plants in LC are doing for the storm?
We shut down yesterday and locked up most everything we could tie or rope down. Only thing we are processing is steam

I don't recall widespread power outages in BR and Livingston for Rita.

On the Hurricane Track cam in Cameron, the road is already under water. It had a good band go through earlier. I'm not sure of the exact location, but the camera is pointed at a small Shell gas station.

Nope. Brand new tweet.
Sorry, just saying that I thought we had already seen data that had confirmed that.

At this point, Category 1 conditions look to be it. You'll lose power. Wouldn't stay in a grove of water oaks or anything but otherwise manageable.

Hmmmm. I haven’t heard that and I’d be directly involved in that.

Is there enough data to have an idea on average time for an EWRC to complete? I know everything is different, but with the attention the process has gotten over recent years, there should be a good idea.
To come back to this point...
They're so different it's hard to say. I've seen storms like Irma fake like five of them and never do it. I saw Florence do two at the same time and Ike never seemed to finish one it started before getting into the gulf.
