fricking English, please.
Sensor in the strongest part of the storm reported very high winds (I don't have the number yet, since I haven't look at it recently).

That was a poor purchase in any sense IMO
It's a pretty ballin house with a putting green in the back and access to the water.

Alpine
Pretty nice though usually with summer lows in the low 60s.
and a beautiful 60/30 with tons of sun in January.

Given its present track, just how bad is it likely to be in Morgan City overnight?

Graywood should be higher the closer to big lake road you are. Interested to see how the houses near the lake fare.
I was going to stay... but I’m going to drive to laffy and wait it out in the truck and then drive back first thing in the morning to assess the damage

Rita we had 90 mph sustained at its peak if I remember right (measured at Patterson airport). If you’re in an area that floods I’d take preps to protect your property but you should be fine from a wind standpoint.
ETA: I know 90 may sound band but there wasn’t much damage. I haven’t seen enough from Laura to know what the winnfield looks like currently though

Love alpine area. Wife and I make a trip every year in late October or early November. Usually on LSU's bye week
