This is basically it.

There has been a notable rightward bend in Laura's short-term track the last 6h or so.

I'd argue this is likely because outer-core convection is no longer biased south & is now more symmetric & even shifted a bit east of the TC center, as the shear vector shifts out to the west.

The shear is definitely still out of the ~north. Downshear-left is a preferred location for enhanced convection in a strong vortex, & that direction is east in this case. The asymmetric wind field may have induced track wobbles if vort perturbations formed within S flow on E side

I’m seeing the convection is now showing an abundance of low ridge pressure to the north which will in turn lower the millibars of horizontal isotopes in the eye thus creating an influx of surf swells upon landfall in the SE region. The Maripova Paradigm is an anomaly which can happen in a Hurricane of this magnitude. Stay safe out there boys! One love!

Ugh. Well built home 20 miles north of I-10 with trees as a wind break but not close enough to fall on the structure. I apologize but this one has me nervous as shite.

For the wobble watchers out there it appears from recon that the center is still south of 25N and was supposed cross that at 89W. So it appears as though it has wobbled back to the left of the thin little NHC track line.
