Why would someone as rich and influential as Trosclair align himself with LaToya? Because he knows he can pay her off and do whatever he wants?

Because everyone knows she’s broke and poor. She used a city credit card for personal expenses, she uses public funds to pay for her vacations, her house had a tax lien and was almost foreclosed on, she’s a welfare whore.

I’ve long said that she will immediately push a bunch through and sometimes even look good but would be shocked if she made it long without financial issues springing up.
I still think Sydney Torres went hard in the paint for her cause she was shady in getting his developments in her council district pushed through.

Weren’t the ones on the greenway between the bayou and Carrollton right on the edge of District B?
He needed the variance to not include extra low income units that his density variance required.
She pushed through last minute at a hearing without proper notification that she was supporting that Sydney could instead fund a low income mortgage program.
The mortgage program through liberty bank, and chairman Norman Francis. she maaaaay be documented singing “you are the wind beneath my wings” to him at an event.
Whoooole thing felt smarmy. Curious if anyone heard more about that mortgage program.
