It was first tweeted by @ralphgleason5
But I don’t expect Twitterers or TD to ever get credit. The Lens actually published an article with all of the donations including the PAC contributions after the collapse. Whatever. There’s no journalistic integrity with anonymous Tweets and whatnot. It got done that’s all that matters.

Fox 8 just ran a story at 9 that really made her and the city look bad.
The 10pm broadcast will be even worse.

Donations after the collapse. Do these constitute a payoff? In the very least, the timing is super sketchy imho.

Ruh roh.
I still think her ultimate move has to be to give the money back and come out firing on Kailas. Otherwise she’s going down in flames.

TD just changing the world one thread at a time. I wonder if Chicken keeps track of all the chaos this site has caused over the years.

For what is the question I keep coming back to.
They came with the plan to implode pretty quick, were rejected and had to start back over only to end up 6 weeks later at the same place.
Irregardless him being a bad developer he seems to be working within whatever the city deems.

Again, this type of shite happens when people vote for a candidate ONLY because they are black or a woman

Nothing new at 10, fwiw. I’m sure this has Lee Zurik’s full attention, however.
Once he’s on the case, she’s fooked.

I’m waiting to see Lee’s teaser commercial for his investigation into the whole fricking Cantrell team. The shite this bitch has gotten away with is unreal and no one will question her because who’s going to question Nola’s first black female mayor?
She needs to go down and do down hard. She was shady from the fricking start and Sydney Torres wouldn’t run for whatever reason so this is what we’re stuck with.

NOLA is a cesspool. Always has been-Always will be.
Posted on 1/29/20 at 11:53 pm to GeauxGutsy
NOLA itself is fine. It’s the fricking shitheads the 60% black population keeps electing that’s holding it back.

I agree but it just fits the stereotypes
The last mayor was a white male and was a corrupt, incompetent POS.

I wish places like New Orleans and Baton Rouge could actually elect people that gave a shite. Regardless of sex or race. The shitty politics and agendas trickle down to every public sector...most of all judges and Police leadership agendas. If you want to call it leadership.

It's part of the job description to be Mayor of this place. Race and gender are irrelevant as we seem to be picking from the bottom of the barrel regardless. Landrieu was just as bad as Nagin or LaToya.

Pretty sure he identified as a black female

Corrupt POS? Yes. Incompetent? No. LaToya can't get anything done. Even though Mitch was a corrupt POS he got things done. She just doesn't care or have the ability.

I think it's more lack of ability than GAFF. She just doesn't know what she's doing. High energy. Talks a big game. But just does not know how to do things. I honestly think she probably didn't even think that there was anything wrong with taking money from 1031 Canal post the collapse. Just totally naive to things like that. And surrounded by political novices too, which certainly is not helping. How did somebody not step in and say "hey might not be worth the negative perception to be taking things from these people now"?
