Although it's annoying, it's important to see what people believe. Free press is never comfortable press.

I generally appreciate this thread, but the bickering like teenage girls gets old.

It's not bickering. It's exposing bullshite for what it is. There's a reason why there's never a comprehensive response, only talking points.

And to remind everyone, I detest Biden, progressives, and just about every single domestic policy in this country at the moment.

My comment was more about the media and how they have been acting like the propaganda wing of the DNC.

That was going on for years before Russia invaded Ukraine, I’m not saying you are, but people are out there that honestly believe that this whole invasion is nothing more than Putin trying to undo corruption in the USA. That type of thinking is just laughable, especially when it comes to Russia. Putin isn’t trying to help Trump, and even if he was, wouldn’t the same people that believe it be in a tight spot when it comes to the Russian hoax?

Hey guys I don’t follow the news or anything but I’m curious on a scale of 1-10 how successful Russia has been in invading Ukraine?

10. They'll have Kiev conquered within 48 hours!

So you can take your "i'm just a neutral baw" and shove it up your arse.

A lot of that was going on in the early days of the thread and that's why I just stopped reading it after the first few weeks. Anyone thinking this is about Trump needs to stop watching OAN. I do see why the MGT wing of the party thinks we should be aligned with someone who is against the corruption but they are batshit crazy. I think they also still hold Zelensky responsible for the bullshite that went on with the impeachment and some type of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thinking when it comes to Putin.

This board got really angry when I simply pointed out that Russia was making advances in Donbas. I'd heard it was a crazy board and it was only confirmed.

Such a shame that a differing opinion was allowed to post on your echo chamber open forum. Literally all I posted initially was a screenshot comparing April 8th Donbas vs May 9th Donbas and it got 15 downvotes.

This place is on par with democrat underground with the hatred for anything not toting the party line.

I have been saying this since early in this war, Russia fricked up. It started to become obvious about 5 days in and its just gotten progressively more so.

If I was calling the shots I would absolutely go after Belgorod. I would drive straight for it and let Russia feel the pain. It’s probably best I am not a world leader.

And I guess you didn’t start a bunch of shite posting about the CIA Ukraine and posting over and over about Oliver Stone documentaries?

And people reminded you several times how god awful your predictions were early on during this war, yet you are again making more stupid predictions

Short of Nukes what is Russia going to do about it. I would cut off their supply lines and then attack straight into their right flank and just start rolling them up. I wouldn’t stop until I took the crimea back. Then I would go on international TV and say “Russia go frick yourself” That’s what I would do if I could.

This is a part you just can't seem to understand. No one in this thread gives a flying frick about "party line".

Orban tells Putin hold my beer

quote:

BUDAPEST (BLOOMBERG) - Croatia condemned remarks by Hungary's nationalist Prime Minister, Mr Viktor Orban, who has asserted that parts of the Adriatic Sea coast had been "taken" from Hungary.

"We condemn any territorial aspiration against other sovereign countries," Croatia's Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday (May 10).

The government summoned Hungary's ambassador in Zagreb over the comments.

Mr Orban has riled neighbours in the past about Hungary's territorial history, including when he posted a map on Facebook in 2020 depicting "Greater Hungary" that included areas Budapest lost under the 1920 Treaty of Trianon following the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian empire.

Croatia, which has ruled over most of the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea along with Slovenia for more than a century, took offence at Mr Orban's comment that the territory was taken from Hungarians.

"Those who have a sea and ports are able to bring oil on tankers," Mr Orban said in an interview with Hungarian state radio. "If they hadn't taken it away from us, we would also have a port."

The spectre of Hungarian irredentism comes at a moment when Mr Orban's erstwhile ally, Russian President Vladimir Putin, ordered an invasion of Ukraine and seeks to hold territory in the east and south.

Mr Orban has clashed with his EU partners over delivering weapons to Kyiv and imposing a ban on Russian oil purchases, and has labelled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky an "opponent".

Mr Orban frequently portrays himself as not only the leader of Hungary's almost 10 million population but also of "millions" of ethnic Hungarians living in neighbouring countries whom his government has given citizenship and the right to vote.

But he has rejected criticism that he has any territorial ambitions over other states.

The Croatian government "misunderstood" Mr Orban's comments, Mr Tamas Menczer, state secretary for Hungary's Foreign Ministry, said in a Facebook post.

"The prime minister mentioned a historic fact," Mr Menczer said. "We hope that our Croatian friends will not give in to press hysteria."
