I don't think this is weird considering who runs our country and the 81 million who supported him. Our country is far from the epicenter and the out of sight, out of mind deal is in play.
On another note I've been doing some FlightRadar24 viewing this morning. NATO including the US has being steadily flying C 130s into the SE part of Poland. Munitions are moving in.

BJ has made a very astute calculation. From what I’m hearing anyway. He’s putting a lot of distance between himself and some money men. As to your last point those aren’t the materials I was referring to. I’m talking velvet reconciliation.

In normal times the US could lead the world through these "troubles". But Biden will never fill that role. So if there's a chance the current situation can escalate to something much larger leadership is needed. I'm sure Britain and Boris Johnson know the next leader has to step up and act. That's what BJ is doing. Look to see how many other countries step up in the US void. The actions may be subtle, but it's happening. Europe may have to save itself and pull the US along in doing so.

This is a complete reversal from the war in the former Yugoslavia, when Europe was powerless to sort out their own shite. Though I don’t buy the argument DJT would have prevented or sanctioned Russia…

It’s not weird… the countries further west are less reliant on Russian energy… it’s easier for UK to take a harder line with Russia.

Does anyone know how the British Prime Minister travels? One of the hurdles to getting a US President there is that it inherently means US war planes flying over Ukraine just to get Air Force 1 to Kyiv.

I suspect we are very close to NATO countries giving all the weaponry Ukraine needs. That includes the MIG 29s they've been asking for. Russia is about to go scorched earth in Ukraine and maybe BJ just can't handle that.
