If someone would tell me where to find the daily Russian losses I will post them.
The best documentation of losses I have seen is on Oryx:
Oryx
While Ukrainian leaning it only uses kills that are verified by photographic evidence. I haven't seen where they provide a daily tally but they keep a running one that could be compared to the previous day but not sure their verification process is quick enough to be accurate on a daily basis. I do think it gives a fair estimate for the minimum for equipment losses in the war.
Their current running tally of Russian tanks for example: Tanks (425, of which destroyed: 201, damaged: 6, abandoned: 42, captured: 176)
On the site, you can see the photographic evidence and the date stamp for each one.

How bad has Angela Merkel’s legacy been destroyed?

Not nearly enough. They reaaaaaally hated her when I lived in Baden-Württemberg (Heidelberg) and Bayern (Schweinfurt). Even my German family that lived in Thüringen hated her, and she was Eastern German like them.

No new news of Ukrainian SOF slipping over border?

Shooting Russian prisoners in the legs seems so much more reasonable today. I don’t think I’d be taking prisoners at all if I was Ukrainian.
If a country tried to invade the US and actually managed to get troops on the ground why would I shoot them in the leg and not the head? One shot and you no longer have to deal with someone that’s trying to kill everyone you care about.

Why does no source post daily Ukrainian losses?

It’s a serious question. If we’re to get a full picture of the war wouldn’t we need to know Ukrainian losses as well?

No doubt. I’d welcome solid information.

If I type in Ukrainian casualties into a google search every result is of Ukrainian civilian casualties with a smattering of Russian military casualties. None of the popular Twitter OSINT accounts seem to mention them.

The site I posted documents Ukrainian losses as well. Whether they are underreporting I have no way of knowing. Their way of documenting means it is hard to overreport but obviously easy to underreport.

Thanks. Don’t you think it would be beneficial to post both Russian and Ukrainian losses so we can get a clearer picture of what’s going on?

IDK what I would do in that situation. Probably take prisoner I think. Shooting an unarmed prisoner I doubt I could do. It is a better angels thing at least once they are disarmed. It is like tOT always talks about hunting down someone that hurt their family and killing them in cold blood, an understandable impulse but most people have more human in them. That being said war has the ability to dehumanize the best people, especially a war like this one.
Would keeping the Russians in a pow camp in the red forest in the newly liberated Chernobyl exclusion zone be inappropriate?

Absolutely. That being said not only due to bias we are not going to get a full picture. The Gulf wars were the most televised and reported and it was still hard to get a clear picture. I have said here before that it wasn't until The Operations Room on YT did their series of Desert Storm videos that I truly understood what happened and I was there.
I think everyone would love to see an accurate animated sand table with units, troop strengths, and losses constantly updated but I doubt anyone in the world actually has that level of granular data on this war. The ones that have the best data would avoid publishing it for OpSec reasons. We just have to make do with aggregated open source data.

As of Monday morning, Ukraine has captured 168 main battle tanks, 263 armoured fighting vehicles, 73 armoured personnel carriers, 89 artillery systems, 18 air defense systems, 210 military trucks and 92 other vehicles, according to the team of researchers at the Oryx blog, which only lists equipment losses for which photo or video evidence is available.
Damn that is insane. Even if the Ukies can’t use all of the equipment because some of it has been damaged; it’s still a lot of valuable spare parts.

There may be some useful parts but on the MBT side, there is not a lot of overlap in the models. Ukraine is fielding primarily T64s whereas Russia doesn't have many of those in the theater. The T80 is an evolution of the T64 but I have no idea how many parts they share.

The fricking irony that modern nuclear energy is the cleanest form of energy we have available, and the eco-nuts despise it.
It has been given a bad rap, but if those mini-reactors could become useful, it would go a long way to helping back off dirtier forms of energy at supposedly lower risk.
