Firstly, this threads been doing like two pages a day for a week, an afternoon off the rails isn't the end of the world. Secondly, take it up with the person that created the ridiculous argument in the first place. I was just demonstrating why it was ridiculous.

Fair enough but when guys like him are allowed to post unchallenged then the thread devolves into MOD propaganda in the guise of being "neutral". It takes a certain amount of back and forth to push back on that which, being the internet, usually turns out ugly. And when you have a guy spewing enough bullshite you get 10 pages of bullshite.
