I believe it was Lithuania, but I can't recall for certain, but they sent a bunch of S300 batteries to Ukraine and we replaced theirs with Patriots.

Slovakia sent them.

It looks like Russia destroyed a S-300 unit in Kyiv unfortunately.

It’s possible that they confused frostbite and trench foot which are similar enough to confuse non medical ppl.

The claim that 50% of Russian soldiers have frostbite is American FUD.

Smoke is rising from the building of the Russian embassy in Poland. Allegedly, the diplomats are burning the documents. I think i've seen this somewhere before?

Probably related to Poland’s expulsion of Russian “diplomats”.

It may or may not be but foot care is one of the things an infantry officer has to stay on top of and it is tough, especially with the FNGs. Even if it isn't frostbite or trench foot even significantly less dire foot issues can produce combat ineffective troops. I had guys end up in the gimp squad with foot issues just on extended FTXs. Wet feet, ill-fitting boots, and low-quality socks that aren't changed regularly can literally cleave the skin off the foot and infection isn't far behind without proper care.

It's real fun when you see someone's heel detach from their foot because they didn't follow directions on foot care while in the field.

Veteran Russian envoy first top aide to quit Kremlin since war began

Hopefully the first of many....

LVIV/MYKOLAIV/KHARKIV, Ukraine, March 23 (Reuters) - A veteran envoy of President Vladimir Putin has resigned over the Ukraine war and left Russia with no intention to return, two sources said on Wednesday, the first senior official to break with the Kremlin since Putin launched his invasion a month ago.

The Kremlin confirmed that Anatoly Chubais had resigned of his own accord.

Chubais was one of the principal architects of Boris Yeltsin's economic reforms of the 1990s and was Putin's boss in the future president's first Kremlin job. He held senior business and political jobs under Putin, lately serving as Kremlin special envoy to international organisations.

Chubais hung up the phone when contacted by Reuters. The sources did not say where he was.

That doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the idea that there will be anyone willing to remove Putin from power.

Seems unlikely that an individual could get to Putin. But maybe the military will get tired of him...
