Should be pretty easy to get an Italian source to confirm that report, especially if there is visible damage to the Embassy. So far, there are only a handful of tweets and a couple of articles, all citing the Belarussians as their source. No photos or video of damage.

Did any of yall seeing that movie The Darkest Hour, the one about Winston Churchill.
There is a scene in the movie where Chruchill is talking on the phone to FDR about getting planes. FDR says the only way to get them to the Brits while maintaining neutrality is to park the planes on the Canadian border where the Brits can pull the planes over the border with horses. This is basically that.
