"good Christian lads" observing Palm Sunday with their ballistic missiles...
Ukrainian intelligence identifies Russian brigades behind Sumy strike
Roman Petrenko — Sunday, 13 April 2025, 14:30
The data obtained by Ukraine’s military intelligence indicates that the criminal strike on 13 April has been carried out by the Russian 112th and 448th missile brigades. They struck the city of Sumy with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the territory of Russia’s Voronezh and Kursk oblasts respectively.
Source: Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) on Telegram
Details: Intelligence officers even revealed the settlements from which the strike was launched – Liski (Voronezh Oblast) and Lezhenki (Kursk Oblast).
Andrii Yermak, Head of the Ukrainian President's Office, stated that the missiles were equipped with cluster munitions.
Quote from DIU: "Another war crime by Russia – a ballistic missile strike on Sumy, the killing of Ukrainian civilians.
Many people were on their way to church for Palm Sunday, some were returning home from the service.
It is our common cause to ensure that no war criminal – from those who gave the orders to those who launched the missiles – escapes justice."
Background: A Russian missile strike on the centre of Sumy on the morning of 13 April killed 31 people, including 2 children.

Once they get their talking points, the Putin bros will show up with some sort of victim blaming.

They are losers. Or a “degree of loser” to you.
Correct, they are losing. But it’s also true that they are making Russia pay a whole lot more than they initially wanted to pay and Rusdia has not been able to reach their goal so in that sense Russia is also losing.

Certainly you understand that there are degrees of losing you are an Aggie after all.

Kiev Regime in Damage Control After Deadly Strike in Sumy
Zelensky’s handler and head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak, complained that it’s upsetting when “some try to use a tragedy and a Russian war crime for self-promotion on social media.”
This was likely a jab at MP Mariana Bezuhla, who stated that the Russian strike on Sumy hit a gathering of Ukrainian troops assembled for an awards ceremony.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Konotop has called on the head of the Sumy Regional Administration and the regional SBU chief to immediately resign.

Today we used only Ukrainian sources to debunk the Sumy missile strike—no Russian sources whatsoever. Yet hardcore Ukraine supporters and Euro-American warmongers are still furious.
Our sources included:
??Maryana Bezuhla – Former member of Zelensky's Servant of the People party, MP, and former head of the Verkhovna Rada’s National Security, Defense, and Intelligence Committee.
??Ihor Mosiychuk – Former AZOV deputy commander, former politician, now a journalist.
??Artem Semenikhin – Mayor of Konotop in the Sumy region, former member of the neo-Nazi Svoboda party.
??Ukrainian-published photo evidence showing military personnel and vehicles at the site.
And hoes still mad...

I mostly ignore you because you're obviously a paid Russian troll farm bot. But since you say there is no evidence of this strike.....

Today's Palm Sunday attack by Russian forces on civilian targets in Sumy crosses any line of decency. There are scores of civilian dead and wounded. As a former military leader, I understand targeting and this is wrong. It is why President Trump is working hard to end this war.

ISW Update April 13 2025
quote:
Key Takeaways:
Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that ongoing US-Russian negotiations are unlikely to result in "lightning-fast results," contrary to US President Donald Trump's stated objective of achieving a general ceasefire and lasting peace agreement in Ukraine in the near future.
Any future general ceasefire or peace agreement must include robust monitoring mechanisms, given the Kremlin's ongoing efforts to portray Ukraine as violating the long-range energy infrastructure strikes ceasefire without providing evidence of these strikes and despite the lack of public details about the ceasefire’s terms. It remains unclear what monitoring mechanisms the West could leverage to enforce and monitor a future general ceasefire or if the Kremlin would accept any such mechanisms.
Russian officials continue to weaponize the vague terms of the current ceasefire on long-range strikes against energy infrastructure and ongoing ceasefire negotiations in an effort to falsely portray Ukraine- and not Russia- as unwilling to engage in constructive dialogue.
Russian forces conducted a devastating ballistic missile strike against Sumy City on April 13, causing more than 100 casualties.
Ongoing milblogger complaints about the Russian military's conduct of the war in Ukraine reinforce ISW’s assessment that Russian tactics will degrade Russia’s manpower and materiel resources and contribute to slowing Russian advances along the frontline.
Ukrainian forces recently advanced near Toretsk and Russian forces recently advanced near Kharkiv City, Borova, and Chasiv Yar.

Russia needs lots of recruits the rate off losses in 2022 was 5 soldiers per every vehicle (tank, truck or whatever), and now are 20 to every vehicle with tanks and IFV's a rare site at the front. Russia needs a meat wave army.
