Great. Europe can handle Europe's business.
I'm all for Ukraine "winning" as long as we're not pouring money into their fight.
If Germany steps up and helps Ukraine beat the evil bully Putin, good for them. It's not our fight anymore.

If you listen to that quote you will realize it can be interpreted different ways. The "may" is a loaded word. "May" could actually refer to the signing of the agreement not the coming in next week.
It's how Trump speaks. He's riffing, just improvising like he's talking to the bar tender at the turn.
It's pointless to cheer or boo anything until the pen hits the paper.

It's not as if the sitting US Vice President and... whatever the hell they want to call Musk this week did not directly interject themselves into the German election to try to get a result that would've been advantageous to Putin or anything...
We're not staying out of Europe's business... we're trying to tip it to Putin!

It does seem as if Europe is ready to continue to support Ukraine in fighting Russia.
Will Trump just quit trying to stop the War?
He can cut off US support (or fight with Congress about that)... but he'd have to let the sanctions continue and not reestablish economic relations with Russia or he'd be choosing a side instead of being neutral.
