What you have not posted is all the Ladas being used as transportation for Russia along the front. It's as if they no longer have any BMPs or IFVs

Russia still has lots. But the old Soviet supply depots are empty, and they can't repair/manufacture nearly as many as they are losing.

And by the way, that's the thing about all the reports we hear about how much the Russian war machine is producing: on a day when a country makes two tanks and Ukrainian drones destroy three, the country gets weaker. The production of the two tanks "counts" as production and makes the GDP look better, but it doesn't actually provide the country any benefit.

This is the same thing as the "broken window fallacy" that economists talk about, where some speculate that it would benefit a community if someone went around and broke all the windows, because then everyone would buy new windows and that would generate positive economic activity.

When people like JB post the graph again about the Russian economy, remember that it's the same crap. They count as "product" the carp that gets destroyed at a rate faster than it's produced.

Posted by GOP_Tiger 11/27/24 at 1:01 pm to GOP_Tiger This thread endured so, so many utterly stupid trolling posts from texag, SirWinston, trinidad, and others who have insisted that President Trump would sell out Ukraine on Day 1.

And now, Trump has picked as his special envoy a man whose plan for Ukraine begins with substantially increasing military aid to Ukraine to force Russia to the bargaining table.

It's almost as though our resident idiots actually believed the crap that Tim Pool, Tucker, and the other paid Russian operatives were pushing out.

You were 110% wrong. Trump never increased military aid and in fact cut much of the aid.

But you’re too much of a pompous prick to admit when you’re wrong. Don’t let the door hit you..

Serous question? Are you a pedophile like Scott Ritter? I mean, why else would you post his comments?

He is having a mental breakdown. His mother is supposedly in the hospital but he is slandering other posters now. That Trump/Putin phone call truly broke him. Falsely slandering other posters is a classic NAFO troll technique when they have mental breakdowns

Actually, it supports the "dopamine hit" theory I laid out on page 4518 of this thread. The more provocative the post, the more engagements, the more intense of a dopamine rush. And by engagement, I mean any type of engagement including positive or negative replies and up votes or down votes.

I don't care what you call yourself. But if you use GOP in your name, and you didn't vote for Trump, you should be ashamed of yourself.

FT writes Ukraine's rejection of Bessent's proposal as follows:

Zelenskyy wants American and European security guarantees to be tied directly to any deal on the mineral reserves, according to four people familiar with the US-Ukraine negotiations. He is also keen for other countries, including EU states, to be involved in future natural resource exploitation.

But the deal proposed by Trump and delivered by Bessent only referenced the US getting Ukrainian resources in exchange for past military assistance, and did not contain any proposals for similar future assistance, according to a person familiar with the document."

Update from the same source

“The situation on the Constantinople route is extremely critical.

Well, we can't keep stepping on the same rake and repeating the same mistakes.

We cannot afford to lose many of our soldiers for the sake of "good reports upstairs."

Urgent decisions need to be made there to prevent the disaster that is brewing there.

I don't know how much longer I have to suffer with the Donetsk OTU...”

ISW Update Feb 15 2025

quote:

Key Takeaways:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin is attempting to create conditions to frame Putin as the victor over US President Donald Trump in negotiations.

Ukraine's US and European partners continue to work to jointly develop Ukraine's defense industrial base (DIB).

Kremlin-controlled state media used an interview with Kremlin-affiliated former Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Deputy Viktor Medvedchuk to reiterate the Kremlin's false narrative about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's illegitimacy and Russia's longstanding goal of destroying the Ukrainian state.

Russian advances south and southwest of Pokrovsk have slowed over the last two weeks amid indications that the Russian military command may prioritize offensive operations against Kostyantynivka — the southernmost point of Ukraine's fortress belt in Donetsk Oblast — in Spring and Summer 2025.

Russian advances may be slowing south of Pokrovsk due to degradation among frontline Russian units and intensified Ukrainian drone operations in the area.

The Russian military command may also intend to prioritize assaults on Kostyantynivka in 2025 and are thus reportedly not reinforcing the Russian force grouping south of Pokrovsk.

Russian cargo vessels have continued to evacuate military assets from the port of Tartus as Russia negotiates its presence in Syria with the interim government.

Ukrainian forces recently advanced near Pokrovsk, and Russian forces recently advanced near Toretsk and Velyka Novosilka and in Kursk Oblast.

Russian occupation authorities continue to create regional analogues to the federal "Time of Heroes" program, which aims to place veterans of the war in Ukraine in government positions as part of Kremlin efforts to integrate occupied Ukraine into Russia and militarize society and government.

Ritter was fired by General Schwarzkopf. He bungled the Iraq weapons inspection and his inspectors trained at the equipment yard of a friend in Haynesport, NJ. These "engineers" could barely tell the difference between a pump and a valve. Total morons including Ritter.

How many underaged sex partners did the Kremlin provide to him during his visits?
