All yall talk about is how weak Russia is and then say he should’ve won already.

I know it really breaks your heart. But the US is likely never getting into a hot war with Russia

It’s obvious that they aren’t the adversary we faced in the Cold War. That surprised me.

Even with that thry had years to prepare their special operation and even though they attacked Ukraine from three sided their effort failed miserably.

You do realize that we actually gave capital ships, and Ukraine had none.

The Russian navy is buttressed by submarines. On the surface they suck. We’d eat their lunch.

It Keeps Getting WORSE!! U.S. May Condition Future Aid to Ukraine on Peace Talks with Russia

CNN reports that Secretary of Defense Hegseth suggests the U.S. may condition further military assistance on Ukraine’s willingness to engage in negotiations with Russia.

Hegseth signaled that continued aid is not guaranteed and could depend on Ukraine’s readiness for talks. He stated that President Donald Trump would determine “the most effective incentives or sanctions on both sides to achieve a lasting peace.”

“We are continuing to provide the security assistance that was already allocated. But I think it’s fair to say that future funding—whether increased or reduced—could also become part of the negotiations,” Hegseth said at a NATO press conference in Brussels.

“Whatever the president deems the most effective incentive or sanction for both sides to achieve lasting peace—while, of course, taking into account Vladimir Putin’s long-standing motives regarding Ukraine,” he added.

Hegseth also made it clear that he would not be directly involved in negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, signaling a shift toward a less interventionist U.S. role compared to his predecessor, Lloyd Austin. His remarks indicate a possible softening of Washington’s stance, potentially pressuring Kiev to consider diplomatic solutions rather than relying on indefinite Western military support."

I’m confused. I thought Trump was negotiating without Ukraine, but now you say they are going to force Ukraine to negotiate?

Mechanical trouble or have talks fallen apart already? Hopefully it’s just a precaution and the plane is able to land safely and get the talks started.

ISW Update Feb 13th 2025

quote:

Key Takeaways:

Ukraine's European partners announced new military assistance to Ukraine amid the February 12 Ukraine Defense Contact Group (the Ramstein format) meeting.

Russia reportedly lost just over 5,000 tanks and armored vehicles during 2024 compared with 3,000 in 2023.

IISS noted that Russia has adapted some of its tactics to address ongoing equipment shortages and is increasingly relying on infantry-led assaults to advance along the frontline.

It remains unclear if Russia can repair and newly-produce a sufficient number of tanks and armored vehicles to replace losses in Ukraine and equip new Russian units.

Estonia's Foreign Intelligence Service (EFIS) assessed that Russia is attempting to build its capabilities not only to support Russia's war effort in Ukraine but also to prepare for a potential future war with NATO, which is consistent with ISW's assessments about ongoing Russian efforts to prepare its military and society for a future conflict with NATO in the medium to long-term.

Ukrainian forces continue to target Russian energy and military infrastructure as part of an ongoing strike campaign against Russian defense industrial enterprises.

The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) announced on February 13 the termination of the Moldovan-Russian Intergovernmental Agreement on the establishment and functioning of Russian cultural centers in Moldova in response to ongoing reports of Russian drones violating Moldovan airspace.

Russian forces recently advanced near Borova and Siversk.

Russian officials continue efforts to increase recruitment for the "BARS-Bryansk" volunteer territorial defense detachment.

The only bodies of water Ukraine had to engage with Russia are The Black Sea and The Sea of Azov.

If the United States had to engage Russia on the water it would involve all major oceans of the entire world.

And without having a Navy, Ukraine dominated the Black Sea fleet rendering them combat ineffective.

In blue water, there is no comparison between Russia's navy and the US Navy. Russia has a much smaller fleet of major surface combatants than the US.

Bruh- the Dems are obstructing each and every day; whether it’s through the courts or through Congress.
They are siding and abetting illegal aliens and gangs every dat.
Their daily propaganda gives our enemies abroad hope.
If you have written them off, you are sadly mistaken, bruh.

You need to have a little more faith in our President and his team. They are just getting started. Every one of his appointments have been confirmed, including Tulsi, RFJ, jr. and Kash.

The Pubs have the majority in the both House and the Senate.

As to the courts, temporary restraining orders - the key word being "temporary". Besides, conservatives are the majority on the SCOTUS. Pam Bondi will push everything to SCOTUS if she has to.

ICE is rounding up the illegals and sending them home.

And frankly, I don't give a flying frick what our enemies abroad think.

1. Zelenskyy is a Churchillean figure
2. The Ghost of Kiev is second only to our Chuck Yeagar
3. Ukraine is winning the war

UPDATE ON UKRAINE
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
14 February 2025

In January 2025, Russia launched approximately 2,400 One Way Attack Uncrewed Aerial Systems (OWA UAS) into Ukraine, surpassing the December 2024 total of 1,700 as anticipated. Russian strikes primarily targeted energy infrastructure, as well as military targets.

The January 2025 total is comparable to the November 2024 and October 2024 totals. It is likely that Russian monthly OWA UAS launch rates of at least 2,000 will continue to be the standard expectation through 2025.

Impacting OWA UAS launch operations is challenging. However, on 26 January 2025 and 06 February 2025, Ukraine launched its own attacks against known Russian OWA UAS operational sites, with damage noted at both sites. These attacks again highlight Russia's inability to protect military sites from Ukrainian UAS attack.
