Again, the reason that Biden didn't give them to Ukraine is that he didn't want Ukraine to win. We all know that now. We pretty much knew it before, but now his own people have come out and said it directly.

We wasted billions of dollars vast numbers of Patriot missiles for Ukraine,

Russia has proven repeatedly in this war that they lack the ability to rapidly exploit Ukrainian weaknesses.

Have they really put a coordinated effort into it that leads us to that assumption though?

There isn't really any use taking land you can't reasonably hold because being the aggressor is more costly on a man to man basis than being the defender.

Russia has been steadily grinding. Just by nature of the front being a massive chunk of land, you'd think they would have broken through somewhere if nothing but by sheer luck if they were actually trying. I think they are perfectly fine with the current attritional pace.

Considering you’ve been wrong about the vast majority of this war, how would you specifically know what Ukraine needed to win?

The answer is you don’t know.

Russia runs out of equipment near the end of 2025, so does Ukraine with no additional aid

I should have posted this from last Sunday and from a month ago.

That’s the conventional wisdom, but look how long people have been saying this.

There is a reason it hadn’t happened, yet. Perhaps Russia doesn’t have the muscle to do it?

Can you really believe this? According to Trump Russia has lost 800K men. I took that number as casualties.

We know it hasn’t been “free”. It has cost them billions. They list Wagner, they list Syria, and have had to cut deals ti keep the war going. These deals cost something.

Russia didn’t want a three year war. It started out like our Civil War. The Union Arny marched into Virginia to bring the Rebel capital down and end things. Four years later the war ended.

Putin never wanted a three or four year war. Trump is right. It has hurt Rusdia. Ttump Wil have to show Putin how to end things or this war will go on for years with no good result.

I pray he does.

Nah, many of us believe that the Russian economy is doing fine, and it will continue to do fine until they drain their sovereign wealth fund down to the point that it creates financial instability. That likely won't happen until the end of 2025 or later, as much of Russia's sovereign wealth fund is in gold, and gold prices have steadily increased over the last year, enabling Russia to continue to fund its war through selling much less gold than previously expected.

Hey texag, maybe I'm wrong about this? President Trump said today that Russia's economy is failing, so maybe Russia really is ready for economic collapse.

Based on the fact that they are still doing it and Russia has never historically given a shite about high casualty numbers? Yes.

And I've said numerous times that I don't buy our numbers or Russia's.

The pause is for new export permits which are required for non FTA nations. No new terminal will get funding without one and per nation it intends to export to.

That being said, we still have to complete those terminals under construction. This should happen in 2028, with some projects already having to sell out due lack of funds to compete. One of those was Driftwood LNG just south of Sulphur, LA on the former Global Marine facility with rolled pipe onto spools for ease of laying in the Gulf of Mexico. There already are no amount of export facilities which can rival the Port of Lake Charles and this would solidify that which already has 4 export terminals under its jurisdiction including the big boy, Cheniere Sabine Pass.

Those numbers are fantasy. He actually said Russia had 1 million KIA and Ukraine had 700k KIA. Both those numbers are not accurate. If they were the War would have already ended. Just like Trump announced $500 billion for the Stargate project. Elon Musk confirmed today it is nowhere close to $500 billion. Trump likes to exaggerate numbers when negotiating, everyone knows that.

I believe the 800K casualties for Russia makes good sense. 800K killed doesn’t. 6-700K for Ukraine does too.

But I’m not going to quibble over the exact numbers, but it’s obvious both sides have hundreds of thousands of injured and killed.

Not even close. The War would be over if those KIA/WIA numbers were correct. Russia has had a 10:1 artillery advantage during this War and has less casualties then Ukraine. Total KIA/WIA numbers are more like

Russia= 350k to 400k
Ukraine= 450k to 500k

Do you really believe Russia has only had 1000 to 1100 casualties a month?

Ukraine 1300 to 1400 a month?

Yes. If it was double that like you suggested this War would be over.

Trump has used two different numbers in the last 48 hours. On Monday, he said Russia had suffered 1M KIA, then yesterday, he said 800K.

Video of Trump saying Russia has "lost" 800K soldiers and Ukraine 600-700K lost. Lost could mean casualties and not deaths.
