And some act like Ukraine was crazy for wanting to get in NATO
I think letting them in is crazy. Of course a country who can't defend themselves from an inept Russian military without billions in aid would want a free ride under the NATO flag.

UK is LNG 0 pipelines frm Russia, your post is phony as usual
Are you so stupid that you don't realize that not having Russia gas flow through Ukraine to Europe effects supply and that's why the price of LNG gas is going up including in the UK?

Thankfully Ukraine is not getting in NATO so no worries.

I wouldn’t let them in either, but that doesn’t change the two points I made. Nations beg to get in NATO and there really was no reason for Putin to be wary of a NATO offense ftom Ukrsine.

You a referring to the complete video of the hand to hand combat of the Russian killing the Ukrainian? If so, yes it was wild I didn't post the whole thing because it was graphic but I think people lose sight of the realities of War
Yeah, I was referring to the complete video. I think the regulars posters in this thread have seen worse. Anyone that refuses to watch those types of videos, but cheers on needless wars/conflicts across the world should watch videos like that. Plenty of them to choose from.

ISW Update Jan 4
quote:
Key Takeaways:
Ukrainian forces reportedly destroyed or damaged over 3,000 Russian tanks and almost 9,000 armored vehicles in 2024 as Russia continues to accrue vehicle losses that are likely unsustainable in the medium-term.
Russian forces have reportedly been using fewer armored vehicles in assaults in the most active areas of the frontline in recent weeks, possibly in order to conserve these vehicles as Soviet stocks dwindle.
Ukrainian forces struck a gas terminal at the Ust-Luga port in Leningrad Oblast on the night of January 3 to 4.
Ukrainian forces recently regained lost positions near Kreminna and likely maintain positions near Kurakhove.
Russian forces recently advanced near Kreminna, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Kurakhove.
The Russian government continues to increase financial incentives in order to boost the recruitment of military personnel.

Which posters cheer in the war? I don’t see that.
Personally I found it abhorrent that Russia elected to ratchet up this conflict in 2022 by sending tens of thousands of rdgulsrs deeper into Ukraine. It’s a shame that ruthless leaders like Putin elect to invade countries to gain dominance over their neighbors.
No we I do cheer for Ukrsine yo stop Tysdia and throw them back. If that upsets you too had.
