Thats obviously extreme, but the fight the left is putting on to make having children seem like a negative thing is sick. Especially considering that its specifically marketed toward certain groups.... they aren't telling the illegals to wear condoms.

Solovyev is Jewish and his uber patriotism is something of a shtick. It’s a theatrical show of loyalty. I think he genuinely feels that he has something to prove, but of course it does come with material benefits.
A lot of the big names in the Russian media aren’t Russian though, Margarita Simonyan is Armenian for example.
