their thinking is more like mongols. Workers are lazy and incompetent, bosses corrupt and the higher you get in pecking order, the more corrupt. Chinese traders buy Russian commodities at big discounts or not at all. Russians deliver substandard always.

Power plants starting to fail in Russia due lack of western parts from the likes of Siemens and GE. Also, engineering and site work for new power generation sitting idle due new equipment never delivered after projects had delays into 2022.
Power plants do not last forever. Lifespan is typically 40 to 60 years. This is the main reason that coal fired are being shutdown in the US. They are at or beyond normal lifespan. Natural gas combined cycle plants are easier/cheaper to build, and even operate with these low natural gas prices even if emissions standards were removed.

So how is the war going? Has Pokrovsk fallen? Have the Ukies made any advances in Kursk?

Looks like Russia has shot its wad trying to take Chasiv Yar and Pokrovsk. Both sides made gains near Pokrovsk. Russian counterattack at Kursk took over a month to put overwhelming forces together and barely made a dent now Ukraine is making advances again. That is what seems to be the case.
Kharkiv still hasn't fallen in 3 days, after months of Russia trying. They even bombed the "aggregate plant" (it made plastic parts) after all their soldiers died trying to maintain hold of it.

If this is a new standard to not indulge in this entire site is hereby closed the frick down!

It’s Russia. It’s a country who won’t play nice. A country that wars with its neighbors.
It doesn’t matter what individual Russians are like. It matters that their country is the cause of a lot of grief and misery.
There's a lot of great Iranian people, Palestinians, and Venezuelans, and Haitians, and Hondurans and El Salvadorans and Colombians...
(not sure about North Koreans, though... they're brainwashed to the point of maybe being hopeless)
why should any of these people get less sympathy across this site than Russians, exactly?
This is a complete line of bullshite.

They shouldn't, and no one said they should.
What should be a pretty obvious difference between all of those (save Palestinians) is that we are supporting the adversary of the Russians in an active conflict right now.
For such supposed 'students of history', one would think more in this thread would understand the role of dehumanizing the opposition in an active conflict.
Saying most Haitians, Hondurans, Colombians, etc etc don't fit in culturally in the US and shouldn't be allowed into the country is VASTLY different from saying "they are all sheeple who suck at their jobs and want to dominate their neighbors, and have been that way for 200 years" with the ultimate endpoint of comments like those being the justification of "any means necessary for a Ukrainian victory".
In this thread you've already had cheerleading of the deaths of individual Russian soldiers after those drone videos that go viral get posted, which is weird at best and sadistic at worst.

So the eastern front is not collapsing? Interesting.

I will say this:
When Russia sends its troops, it's not sending its best people. It's sending murderers and rapists.
I can back that up with plenty of links... like the one someone just posted about the American who volunteered for Russia and 3 Russian troops tortured, killed and blew up him up.

War is hell.
Pokrovsk has not fallen, yet.
The Ukies appear to still be making advances in Kursk, if small.

It does not really appear to be, from what I can see from looking for info... Russia is making slow, steady advances in some places, Ukraine is recapturing some areas. So, a stalemate?

If tweet fails to load, click here. It’s continuing to unravel, Ukrainsk fell this week, and Ugledar doesn’t have much time left.

I just checked - Big Serge had nothing to say about Toropets. Nothing. Exactly as i expected. Complete silence about Russia’s glorious air defenses getting cucked. Come to think of it, neither did you.

Toropets? It doesn’t have any impact
The Russians will probably respond in a couple of months by covertly blowing up something in the Baltics. The drones would have come from there. And that’s dangerous, but that’s the beginning and the end of it

Ukraine's strike on Russian arms depot destroyed up to 3 months worth of ammunition, Estonian military intelligence head says
by Elsa Court and The Kyiv Independent news desk September 20, 2024 7:40 PM
"At an average rate of military action, Russia fires 10,000 shells per week. That is, a two-to-three-month supply of ammunition,"
"We will see the consequences of this loss at the front in the coming weeks," Kiviselg said.

You cited Big Serge.
Now cite Pedo Ritter or Nutso MacGregor.
