Whoever would have taken workers from the Uralvagonzavod line that produces critical infrastructure components such as rail axles to bring old T62s back into service would have negative consequences?
They cannot use the plant where the T-62's were made, Kharkiv.

Then why do we see videos of T62s leaving Uralvagonzavod?

the only surprise is how much China is staying in, and how India has now signed up for team Russia.
It actually took Israel quite a while to realize Russia was not their dependable ally. Putin milked that "it was the USSR who liberated the camps" thing hard for a while.

Thats part of it, but I think another part is that if you make them collapse you have nukes falling into the hands of who knows who? A gangster thug being able to fall back on having nukes in order to get some of what he wants is one thing, a religious extremist with a penchant for jihad getting them is completely different and not really out of the realm of possibility if the country were to fold. Even if the country doesn't entirely collapse you just can't be sure about what Putin's eventual successor might do, especially if its not a clean succession (he dies of ACTUAL natural causes and not Russian Natural Causes, he resigns actually of his own free will, main idea being the succession is somewhat planned out and not a spur of the moment coup).
yes. They're trying to manage the dissolution of Russia and be able to account for the nukes.

Even the US left dislikes Modi, I'm sure the even more left-wing European left despises him. Just in general India probably feels like they are second-class citizens given the size of the population politically speaking in the US-EU sphere, but can be a prominent seat at the table in the BRICS bloc. The BRICS in general is made up of the powerful geopolitical 'outcasts' of the world.

Yes... but... it's also a nest of Vipers who would screw each other over in an instant...

I think it was Trent Telenko in the opening months of the war pointed out the vulnerability of the Russian rail system. His thesis was that a shortage of specialized wheel bearings would be the key. They seem to have staved off that crisis but it all seems to be coming due at once now.

Talk about a kiddie table where they are always ready to stab each other in the front.

Wheel bearings for freight is easy. At least well into the 1980's they were sleeve bearings with babbit bearing surfaces for freight cars in the USA. One successful project I was involved with was Scullin Steel Foundry in St. Louis. It cast steel side frames and bolsters for rail cars. It also cast tank turrets for WWII, Korea and Vietnam eras, and track pads for Saturn V launch vehicle to roll the rocket out on. I suspect that the electric arc furnaces have gathered rust in Venezuela and the overhead cranes are still in use making cast iron pipe in Birmingham.

... and for some reason, Saudi Arabia is falling into the groove... though that means sitting at a table with their arch nemesis Iran, but Saudi Arabia is afraid of an international community that emphasizes Democracy, so they'll hedge their bets.
But I'm sure we discussed that a Goldman Sachs guy made up the title and concept of bundling investments in "developing countries," then the original countries decided to make it a thing,,, but they don't do much except have meetings and photo ops and take pics.

I see cargo pants just bought a 75 million euro vineyard in Italy with our money.
What fools.

It was a London investment banker who created a trading widget.

Poli board already debunked that story.

You and the rest of the politards sure are. I guess that he was a broke arse writer, producer, director and actor in his own TV shows and didn't make a fortune doing that even in Russia.
Dayum little boy, you keep outing yourself as a dumbass. Your mother needs to take you outside for a spanking so that it might knock some sense into you

Had no idea if his past life so I just googled him. Apparently the past six years have been good to him. In 2018 his net worth was 1.5 million. Just saying. Don't know anything about a property he just bought, but he is far from wealthy

All T-62's were made in Kharkiv, then called Kharkov

I'm pretty sure he is worth north of $50 million. He sold the Man of the People for syndication in Russia. That he was outed for having funds in an offshore bank account in Cyprus was public knowledge before he ran for office.

From what I understand you are correct, he became a millionaire before he ran for office.
This is very unusual in the US.
